Roles and Responsibilities

Volunteers may be asked to support one or more of the following tasks:

• Registration and Front Desk Support:
  Welcoming participants and speakers, registering attendees, distributing badges and conference materials, managing arrivals during peak times, and responding to general inquiries.
• Speaker and Panellist Support:
  Assisting speakers and panelists throughout the forum, welcoming them upon arrival, and providing logistical and on-site support as needed.
• IT and Technical Assistance:
  Supporting the setup of technical equipment prior to the event, troubleshooting technical issues during sessions, assisting speakers with presentations and microphones, and managing microphones during Q&A sessions.
• Communication Support:
  Taking detailed notes during presentations and panel discussions to support the communications team’s content development, including identifying key insights, quotes, and highlights for sharing across social media and other communication channels.
• Event Setup:
  Assisting with venue setup before the event and packing away materials at the conclusion of the forum
• General Event Support:
  Providing guidance to attendees and speakers and assisting with ad hoc tasks as they arise throughout the conference.
